ABSTRACT

The result showed that the rabbit fish in Bua Sub district Waters could be divided into 4 age groups with different growth parameters : L∞ = 281,55 mm, K = 0,061 in three months, and t0 = 0,71 in three months. The natural Mortality rate was greater than that of fishing mortality. The exploitation rate had exceeded its optimum limit. The correlation between the exploitation rate and population structure had shown a significant different between the caught. The condition of the coral reefs had also been damaged at certain depth.
